Baillie Hall & Hershman Opens Waterford Office, Welcomes New Associate Stacy Haines

Mystic native brings residential and commercial real estate experience; Haines to head up Waterford office

Baillie Hall & Hershman P.C., Connecticut's largest supplier of real estate closing services to the employee relocation industry, opens an office in Waterford and welcomes a new attorney as an associate. Stacy A. Haines, originally from Mystic, Conn., will be charged with running the new Waterford office. Ms. Haines joins the firm with a primary focus on real estate transactions.

"Having a formal presence in Waterford will give our clients in the area more access to the resources that we offer," said Partner Don Baillie. "Stacy will be a vital asset as we grow in this part of the state. She brings extensive Connecticut real estate experience to the team, and she is personally committed to client service."

Most recently, Haines was a real estate and municipal attorney at a Groton firm. There she oversaw contract negotiations and handled closings for residential and commercial real estate transactions. Prior to that she was In-House Counsel for a third party logistics company where she handled all legal matters including federal regulatory compliance. As an associate at Baillie Hall & Hershman P.C., she will work primarily in the Waterford office.

Haines has a J.D. from the Quinnipiac University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Connecticut, Storrs in Mathematics/Actuarial Science. She was named to the Who's Who of American Law Students list in 1997.

The announcement comes as the firm looks to expand operations across all offices. The firm now has locations in Cheshire, Avon, Norwalk, and Waterford, Connecticut.
