Jay N. Hershman

Jay N. Hershman concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate law, estate planning, and corporate and business organization.

Mr. Hershman is a member of the Connecticut and District of Columbia Bars, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court in the District of Connecticut.

He is a member of the American, Connecticut and New Haven County Bar Associations. Mr. Hershman has been a member of the Cheshire Fire Department since 1992 and currently holds the rank of Assistant Chief. Mr. Hershman serves on the Cheshire Public Building Commission and is a member of the Employee Relocation Council and the Young Relocation Professionals Network.

Mr. Hershman received a B.A. from Bryant College in 1998, and a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2001. At Quinnipiac University School of Law, he was the Research Editor of the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal, and authored "Erickson v. Erickson: Extrinsic Evidence in Probate Matters", Quinn. Prob. Law Jour. 143 (2001).
